01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
About this place
Perched on the 3th floor of Iidabashi Sakura Terrace, GOSU offers genuine Korean barbecue alongside a diverse selection of traditional dishes in a calm, welcoming setting. The tabletop grills turn out tender bone-in short ribs, premium beef tongue, and thick-cut samgyeopsal pork belly, while the kitchen's finishing dishes and side plates enjoy an equally loyal following.
Among the post-barbecue options, the house-made mul-naengmyeon is a particular highlight. These thin, springy cold noodles are paired with a clean, chilled broth that cuts cleanly through the richness of grilled meats. Diners can order a full bowl for a hearty meal, or opt for a half or small portion as a refreshing finale to a barbecue course.
Barbecue Courses and Classic Korean Plates
For evening gatherings, multi-course menus prove popular, led by a 11-course Standard Course that spans prime cuts of beef tongue, kalbi short rib, loin, and offal. Between rounds of grilling, tables are filled with crisp Korean pancakes, springy glass-noodle japchae, and colorful assortments of kimchi and namul seasoned vegetables. Drinks such as fresh draft makgeolli, sour cocktails, and highballs complement the meal, with an all-you-can-drink option available for an added fee.
Lunchtime Bibimbap and Open-View Seating
At midday, steaming stone-pot dolsot bibimbap sets served with soup and salad are a daytime staple, and counter seating makes solo dining completely seamless. The dining room includes standard tables and booth seating, alongside terrace tables and window seats toward the back that look out across open local scenery. It works equally well for an unhurried weeknight dinner, family outings, or casual group gatherings around the grill.
